Yinarupa Nangala [c1961-]

Yinarupa Nangala has been surrounded by artistic talent since she was born. Being the daughter of one of the founding members of the Papunya Tula art movement, the late Anatjari Tjampitjinpa, and a sister of Roy James Jangala, she has learned her craft from the very best. To top it off, Yinarupa had five children with the late and great Yala Yala Gibbs. Highlighting her meteoric rise, Yinarupa's undoubted talent was rewarded when she won the 2009 prestigious Telsta Award. Due to this well-deserved success, Yinarupa's works are now deemed as indigenous fine art of the highest order and therefore, are now considered to be highly collectable paintings both here and overseas.
